What is Nexez? What it does and doesn’t do for your business
A chiropractor hears that customers are booking through AI assistants and wonders whether Nexez is one more tool to manage or something that actually helps. Fair question. Here is what Nexez is, what it does, what it doesn’t do and how to tell if it fits your business, without the sales pitch.

What is Nexez? In one sentence: Nexez turns what your business sells, your services, prices, booking questions and limits, into clear offers that customers and AI assistants can choose from and move forward with, only within the rules you set. It sits between your business and the AI assistants your customers use, such as ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Claude.
Take a chiropractor with one clinic. Today, a new patient asks an assistant for “a chiropractor near me who can see me Thursday evening for lower back pain, without a referral.” The assistant reads the clinic’s website, finds “Call to book” and no prices, and recommends a clinic down the road whose pages answer the question. With Nexez, the clinic has a clear offer: a first visit with exam and adjustment from $85, evening slots from its calendar, no referral needed, and the questions it asks every new patient.
That is the whole idea. The rest of this guide sets out, honestly, what Nexez does, what it doesn’t and when it is worth your time.
What does Nexez do?#
Nexez works in four steps, and nothing goes live until you approve it:
| Step | What Nexez does | Chiropractor example |
|---|---|---|
| Connect what you use | Starts from your website, a spreadsheet or tools like Square, Shopify, Stripe, Calendly, Acuity or Google Calendar, and turns it into offers you can edit | Imports the clinic’s services from its website and its hours from its booking calendar |
| Set your rules | You choose your prices, the choices that change them, the questions buyers must answer and the work you accept | First visit $85, follow-ups $60. Asks about the main complaint and any recent injury |
| Let buyers choose | A person or AI assistant can choose an offer and give the details you asked for | A patient, or the assistant helping them, picks a Thursday evening first visit |
| Review each sale | Nexez checks the details and price against your rules, then sends the buyer to the right next step | A routine first visit can go ahead. A recent car accident waits for the chiropractor to review |
Your sale rules decide what happens to each request: it can go ahead, wait for your review or stop. That matters most for jobs that need judgement. A veterinarian might let routine vaccinations go ahead but have anything involving an emergency stop and point the owner to call. A personal trainer might let a first session go ahead but review requests for injury rehab.
What else is included?#
- Pricing and choices: a starting price, plus how options, extras or quantity change the total.
- Buyer questions: the details you need before an order moves forward.
- Repeat services: ongoing work, such as a weekly training session, with the timing and price you choose.
- Agent Simulator: try a buying request and see what Nexez understood, what is missing and what would happen next, before a real buyer does.
- Clear order records: the offer, buyer details, price and approvals kept together.
- Copilot: help improving your offers while your prices and rules stay in charge.
- Trust context: your policies and proof kept close to each offer.
- Your brand: publish on Nexez or on your own domain.
- Sales insights: see which assistants and offers bring buyers, and what people want to buy.
When an offer is ready for direct purchase, Nexez gives the buyer a clear path to checkout, with payments handled through Stripe. Our guide to how AI agents find, compare and book service businesses shows where each of these fits in a customer’s journey.

Knowing the limits is as useful as knowing the features. Here is what Nexez does not do:
| Nexez does not | What that means for you |
|---|---|
| Replace your website | Your website keeps doing its job. Nexez gives buyers and assistants a clearer way to understand your offers and take the next step. |
| Make up your prices or rules | You set every price, choice and limit. Nexez follows them and does not invent them for you. |
| Let an AI change your terms | An assistant cannot skip your questions, get a price you did not set or book work you did not agree to. |
| Push every order through | You choose what can move forward on its own. Anything else waits for your review or stops before payment. |
| Guarantee an AI will recommend you | No tool can promise that. Nexez makes your offers clear and usable, which is what assistants look for, but they decide what to show. |
| Fix your other listings for you | Old hours on a directory or an out-of-date Google Business Profile still need updating by you. |
| Require you to be technical | You can set up and manage offers in plain language. Technical tools exist for teams that want them, but you do not need them. |
Nexez works best alongside a clear website
Assistants read many sources, not just Nexez. If your website, listings and reviews say different things, fix those too. Our guide on what to do when an AI gets your business wrong shows how.
How much does Nexez cost?#
You can start on the Free plan with five published listings, the Agent Simulator and checkout, with no time limit and no card required. On Free, Nexez earns a 5% commission only when a sale is completed through Nexez, so if no one books, you pay nothing. Card-processing fees are separate. Pro is $39 a month at 3%, and Scale is $149 a month at 2%. The pricing page has the current details.
Is Nexez right for my business?#
Nexez tends to fit when most of these are true:
- You sell services or products with prices you can write down, even as a starting price or range.
- You ask new customers the same few questions before you say yes.
- You lose time on bookings that don’t fit, or on calls that only ask “how much?”
- You want customers, and the AI assistants helping them, to book or buy without waiting for you, but only within limits you set.
It is a weaker fit if every job is a one-off you price only after a long conversation. Even then, a clear starting price and a “check with me first” rule can help. A real estate agent, for example, might not sell anything through Nexez directly but could offer a free 30-minute consultation, ask a few questions first and review each request before confirming.
What to do this week#
- Run the free Nexez scan on your website and note your score.
- Pick your most popular service and write down its price, what changes it and the questions you ask.
- Decide which requests for it can go ahead, which you want to review and which should stop.
- Create a free Nexez account, bring that service in from your website or a spreadsheet and review the offer.
- Try a real customer request in the Agent Simulator before you publish.

What is Nexez used for?
Nexez helps businesses sell through AI assistants. It turns your services, prices, buyer questions and limits into clear offers that customers and assistants can choose from and book or buy, only within the rules you set.
Does Nexez replace my website or booking tool?
No. Your website keeps doing its job, and Nexez can connect to booking and payment tools you already use, such as Calendly, Acuity, Google Calendar, Square, Shopify or Stripe. It gives buyers and assistants a clearer path to the next step.
Can an AI assistant change my prices on Nexez?
No. Nexez uses the prices, choices and limits you set. When a request does not fit those rules, Nexez can send it for your review or stop it instead of inventing an answer.
Is Nexez free?
There is a Free plan with no time limit and no card required. Nexez earns a commission only on sales completed through Nexez, so you pay nothing if no one books. Paid plans add features and lower the commission.
Do I need to be technical to use Nexez?
No. You set up and manage offers in plain language, starting from your website, a spreadsheet or tools you already use. Technical options are there for teams that want them but are not needed to get started.
Will Nexez get my business recommended by ChatGPT?
No tool can guarantee what an AI assistant recommends. Nexez makes your offers, prices and booking path clear and usable, which is what assistants look for. Keeping your website, listings and reviews accurate helps too.
